What we do

We make the difference!

We provide support and education to poor, underprivileged children, single mothers, widows and the elderly in Guatemala, while spreading the love of Jesus Christ with donations and charitable services that meet the basic needs of families. Thanks to the love and generosity of people like you.
We support abandoned women and children with monthly donations of food while striving to improve their living conditions. We focus on the poorest of the poor and try to meet their most urgent needs may include a new roof, a basic kitchen, or beds for children or the elderly.

We support better education by furnishing two learning centers with computers, printers and the internet, the learning centers are teaching English, computer skills, and provide a place for them to do their homework.

We share school supplies during the month of February, shoes and clothes in July-August, toys in December to the children of the 3 villages where we serve.

We celebrate each month with children a time of games, worship and praising God, stories from the Bible and we share a snack at the end.

We have a piñata, eat cake and we sing happy birthday to the kids every two months in the activities we do.

THE MOST IMPORTANT: We share the love and compassion of Jesus with actions more than words.

Families we support

Brisia

Brisia after being mistreated and abused by her alcoholic husband for many years, abandoned her, leaving her with 5 children to care for. She is a hard-working woman who weaves to bring a plate of food to her table. We have adopted her as part of our family, providing them with food, clothing, shoes and everything within our reach to meet their basic needs. Thanks to the support of a person who sends a monthly donation so that they do not lack anything.

Leticia

Leticia was abandoned by her alcoholic husband, leaving her with 5 children, the oldest of whom died in the pandemic. She works making tortillas to bring the beans to the table. Thanks to a generous heart we can also put a basket of groceries on a monthly basis so that they do not lack food on the table. Mario, the oldest boy, is currently on a scholarship at a Christian school and is in first grade. There are many more Leticias in Guatemala, but God gives us the privilege of caring, protecting and supporting her.

Lucia

Lucia, was abandoned by her husband who went with another woman, leaving her with 5 children in her care. She also, like most of the women of San Martin, weaves her looms and that is how she earns her daily livelihood. Thanks to the generous heart of a family we can provide a basket of groceries so that there are no needs. The children are studying at school and thank God we have been able to provide them with school supplies, uniforms, shoes and what is necessary for them to be well.
